Our Approach

Empowering Communities

We actively engage in local communities.

We strive to make a positive impact on the places where we live and work. We invest in local communities to help keep them vibrant and strong through volunteer activities, financial support to local nonprofits and providing stable, well-paying jobs.

How We Support Communities

Company-wide match of up to $5,000 per employee per year for charitable giving.

Donations to local organizations, from volunteer fire departments to local school groups and literacy programs.

Financial support to essential non-profits and businesses like local hospitals and first responders.

Support restoration of historical and cultural landmarks like Sabine Farms in Marshall, Texas.

Preservation of Sabine Farms

Sabine Farms was one of several experimental farming communities founded during the Great Depression to help feed struggling families. After the government ended the project in 1944, Sabine Farms was sold and later managed by Bishop College. But following the release of the property by Bishop in the 1960s, many of Sabine Farms' structures were lost. North American’s Caddo Creek Resources Company, which is actively reclaiming the Marshall Mine, saw an opportunity to help preserve the land and took on the task of maintaining what remains of this once vibrant community.
